The beginning of the trip home

Picture this:  Trying to get to the airport, avoiding the flooded areas of São Paulo, with not one, but two chauffeurs, both speaking very rapid Portuguese.

Makes for a fun trip.  My thanks to Deise and Ivani, for getting me to the airport in time to stand in line again, and for my Brazil mug.

Home again, home again, jiggity-jig…

Made it back home in one piece.

Once I’ve finished the mountain of laundry, I’ll post more photos, and fix the links on the others.

I knew I was home again, because it snowed all over my truck last night.

 

Oh, well. Back to work.

Last day of training today, but I’ve been taking loads of shots, just haven’t been able to get them up.  I’ll post more as soon as I can, and I’ll work out the photo links once I’ve returned on Sunday.

São Paulo

Made it to São Paulo safe and sound.  Interesting place.

For the folks back home, here’s the best way I can describe it; 

Take Birmingham, jack up the prices, make it twice it’s normal size, and then drop it next to a Cass Corridor, 5 times it’s normal size.  Then, make everyone really well tanned, and with a Portuguese accent.
